Rebuy tournament strategy
July 23, 2008 on 10:24 am | In Pokkercards.com | No CommentsTo rebuy or not – that is the question! Should you rebuy and if so how often?
Rebuys in online poker tournaments are where you are allowed to buy your way back into a tournament after you have lost all of your chips, normally there will be either limited (or single) rebuys or unlimited rebuys.
In the first instance, there isn’t really a strategy for rebuying, it is simply a way back into the tournament if you have been eliminated. You must decide whether the rebuy level is enough to give you a chance of progressing further, taking into account the chip stack sizes of your opponents.

October 8, 2006 on 9:24 am | In Pokkercards.com | 3 CommentsKnowing how to play the blinds in Texas Holdem poker is one of the most crucial aspects of the game. You need to know how and when to attack an opponents blinds and equally importantly, how and when to defend your own.

The main difference between the games is that in Texas Holdem each player is dealt two cards, while in Omaha they are dealt four. Players have to make the best possible hand using two cards from the four they were dealt (no more, no less) and three from the community cards.
