Party poker points

First of all you need to be a member of party poker player’s club to either earn or redeem party points. What are party points? For every raked hand a player plays in real money games they earn points which are called party points. There are two ways you can earn points 1) by playing live games and tournaments (single or multi-table) other wise called regular party points. 2) Or by playing during happy hours, making a deposit and referring a friend other wise called bonus party points.

Membership Levels:

There are basically three membership levels - Blue, Silver and Gold in the club depending on the amount of points earned. The higher the membership, greater the benefits. The lowest level is Blue that’s where all real money players start. Here you can use party points to enter into special player’s club freeroll or redeem them for merchandise.

Players who have earned more than 15,000 party points fall into the next category- Silver. Here you have access to special promotions and earn 1.5 times the amount of regular party points earned by blue members.

The last and the highest level is Gold, any player who has earned more than 50,000 points fall into this category. Here you have access to special promotions, free entry to exclusive Gold club events and earn twice the amount of regular party points earned by blue members.

Party Points Redemption:

One important thing to remember is if you are not earning regular party points for a continuous period for 30 days then you forfeit all your points. That means they will no longer be available to you for redemption.

As I mentioned earlier you can enter special freerolls using these points. So, for 50 points you can enter a tournament with maximum prize pool of $250, for 100 points $500, for 250 points $1,250 and for 500 points $2,500. There are eight such tournaments held everyday. You can also trade these points for merchandise.
